About Us
Nestled in the heart of Bellevue, on land graciously donated by Nashvillians, Reese Smith Jr. and Cecil Branstetter, the six field complex has been an integral part of the lives of literally thousands of boys and girls. The cheers and laughter have echoed from the stands and dugouts and bounced off the banks of the scenic Harpeth River as it meanders by the park. Reese Smith Jr. Park has played a multitude of roles in the lives of the youth who have played on its diamonds. It has been much more than a place to play baseball or softball on warm summer nights. The park has been the birthplace of countless friendships; a classroom for lifelong lessons in sportsmanship, character, perseverance, and the importance of being part of a team; and a force which has strengthened the bond between many a parent and child. The property where the ballpark is located is owned by the Bellevue Exchange Club and leased to BSAA, Inc. The Board of Directors of BSAA, Inc., volunteers, coaches, and parents agree to abide by the Bylaws of BSAA, Inc. to accomplish the goals of the baseball and softball program. Parents and volunteers staff the Board. BSAA, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Organization Established in 2002 |
